2011 in Review

With the beginning of a new year, we took the time to look back at 2011. Here are some statistics that give a snapshot of what God did with Team Ghana and the Fundamental Baptist Church International in 2011:

  • 15 churches and 6 independent Bible studies started (since October 2010)
  • 1,050 total average weekly attendance for all church plants
  • 24,207 won to Christ through our ministry, with 633 baptized
  • 1,533 average weekly attendance for all our church ministries in last 6 months—an increase of 333 people/week over 2010

Praise God for what He is doing here in West Africa!

Bible College Graduates

In 2011, 24 men and women walked across the platform of FBCI to receive degrees from Hyles-Anderson College of West Africa. This brings our number of alumni to 43. Of these, 14 men are now pastoring, and 3 more have recently left to start churches  in and around the Volta Region (like a state here in Ghana).

A Look Ahead

Our plans for 2012 are simply to do much more of the same—soul winning, making disciples, and starting churches. What an awesome thing it is to see the transforming power of the Gospel. Please pray that God will help us do even greater works in 2012.

Because of Christ,

Ted Speer

Pastor, Fundamental Baptist Church International
