Forty-Four HACWA Graduates
Hyles-Anderson College of West Africa is a ministry of Fundamental Baptist Church International here in Kumasi. HACWA was founded in January 2008 by Dr. Doug Kalapp and Dr. Ed Tutton. Our Bible college now has 44 graduates. Seven or eight more students will graduate in June. We thank God that 17 of our graduates are pastoring churches. One graduate is in Heaven. We wanted to use this update to introduce our 12 graduates who have joined “Team Ghana” and now serve with us here at Fundamental Baptist Church International. Continue reading
In early April, Dr. Y and Dr. C were invited to a distant city to pr_ach to and t_ach the leadership of some of the assemblies there for three days. This particular city is one of the first of two cities in China where B_ptists set up works in 1843. This was fifteen years before Hudson Taylor arrived here. Each morning from 8:30 until 5:00 p.m., Dr. Y and Dr. C taught, pr_ached, and answered questions from 34 of the primary leaders in the ch_rches of this city. On the first day, Dr. Y and Dr. C focused on the Great Commission as the purpose of a ch_rch, and the listeners were very excited about clearly understanding their purpose in all that they do, and they were anxious to get busy, and very hungry to know and obey the B_ble! Churches are people. As the people grow, the churches grow. The man in the top left photo came to church with his wife this past Sunday morning. They were both saved already, having been led to Christ by one of our soul winners.
